Marlins was originally a Victorian 'Gentleman's Residence', in the 1890's it was the family home of Sir Dan Godfrey, the founder of Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
Today after extensive refurbishment Marlins is a 4 star Bed & Breakfast but retains many of its period features which are complemented by contemporary additions.
The buildings history means no two rooms are the same but we think that adds to the charm.
If you have a particular requirement, do give us a call so we can advise you on the best room choice. We will always try and accommodate your requests, but if we can't we'll tell you before you arrive so that there are no nasty surprises.
